Lecturer in Italian Roberto Meloni takes part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007

 

Roberto Meloni, Baltic Media Ltd. lecturer in Italian is currently very busy with his pop musician career as part of the band Bonaparti.lv taking part in the National Eurovison Song contest singing Questa Notte. Roberto along with five more guys sing in Italian about love and the night which will never end, like love. Italian sounds perfect when performed by the five Latvian guys and their teacher Roberto.

 

If Roberto's group qualifies for the Eurovision Song Contest Finals, this will be the first time over 10 years when a song is sung in Italian during this contest for Italy does not participate since 1997.

Questa Notte is an international project contributed by three Swedes: composed by Kjell Jennstig, lyrics written by Kjell Jennstig / Torbjörn Wassenius and Francesca Wassenius.

 

"Towards the spring I'm going to have more free time from the Eurovision music activities and take up teaching Italian to Baltic Media Ltd. Clients", says Roberto whose classes are already booked up by potential students.

 

Baltic Media Ltd. wishes success to Roberto's group which means the first place not only in the national contest but also in Helsinki, the capital of Finland where the Eurovision Song Contest Finals will be held on May 10 — 12.
